History Is the part of the Jame Masjid and its minaret of the famous Hundred Years of Nagaon Old Warehouse. The term mosque is commonly known as the center of religious and spiritual thought of the Islamic people. Jame Masjid, the historical old godown, located at the head of Na-Ali on nh 37 in Puranigudam in Nagaon district, is no exception. Carrying the signatures of many histories, this mosque is a place of worship for muslims in the old godown.
The minar portion of the Jame Masjid, which was established in 1824, was established in 1902. Built in the technical style of Rangghar Karengghar, the minar was set up by his wife Md. Afza Khatun in memory of Morham Mossud’s Rahman. This Jame Masjid in the old godown also preserves a pot of feast made from a tree built during the Ahom dynasty.
For the expansion of the 4-lane national highway, this share of this minaret was successfully installed at the present location by rr sons, haryana, for about four months from March to June 2019. But even today this minaret is intact.
