Good news for Indian nationals travelling abroad. Because Indians travelling abroad will be able to pay easily from now on. UPI services will be available in Sri Lanka and Mauritius. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the UPI payments service in both the countries at 1 pm on Monday.

The UPI service was launched at the Republic Day reception in France on February 2. A week later, Indian digital payment systems will be launched in Sri Lanka and Mauritius today. RuPay cards will be introduced in these two countries. Indians travelling to both the countries will be able to pay with the help of UPI.

On the other hand, people from Mauritius who visit India can also use it. With the expansion of RuPay services, banks in Mauritius will also be able to issue RuPay cards and use them for settlement in both India and Mauritius.
