Prime Minister Modi today inaugurated the country’s longest cable bridge ‘Sudarshan Setu’ at Devbhoomi Dwarka. The Prime Minister arrived in his home state Gujarat on Saturday on a two-day visit.
On his arrival in Jamnagar in the state, he participated in a mega roadshow. As per his two-day visit, he will take part in two programmes each in Dwarka and Rajkot districts on Sunday.
It is to be noted that the Prime Minister addressed the nation the ‘Sudarshan Setu’, the country’s longest cable bridge in the Arabian Sea. The length of this bridge is 2.5 km.
The bridge will be a great relief for the locals and tourists parallel to the pilgrims visiting dwarkadhish temple. On the other hand, the construction cost of the longest bridge is around Rs 980 crore.
Before opening the bridge, Lord Krishna visited Dwarka town built. It is to be noted that Prime Minister Modi wears special clothes to visit Dwarka city which is currently submerged in the sea.
