Batting with a target of 141 runs, Australia showed dominance from the beginning. They had scored 64 runs in 6.2 overs before rain stopped play for the first time.

Australia have not lost any wicket so far. Two openers David Warner (32) and Travis Head (31) were at the crease.

After the rain stopped, the match started. Head (31) and Mitchell Marsh (1) were out. Bangladesh were trying to return to the match. But Warner and Glenn Maxwell did not let it happen.

They were scoring quick runs. Play was stopped again after 11.2 overs. Rain falls. It was not possible to start the game after that.

At that time Australia scored 100 runs. Australia won the match by 28 runs in the Duckworth-Lewis method.

England beat West Indies by 8 wickets

The start of this year’s T20 World Cup was not good for England. Last year’s World Cup winners were in a situation to be knocked out of the group stage.

Although the old England returned to the Super 8. They defeated West Indies by 8 wickets. Batting first, the Caribbeans scored 180 runs. Phil Salt scored the winning runs with 15 balls to spare.

In the group stage, the match against Scotland was canceled due to rain. England lost to Australia. In the next two matches, Jos Buttler defeated Oman and Namibia to secure a place in the Super 8.

We had to wait for Australia to win against Scotland. Phil Salt made England terrible again in the Super 8. Last month, his team Kolkata Knight Riders won the IPL. Salt also played an important role for that team.

England captain Buttler won the toss and sent West Indies to bat on Thursday. The Caribbeans took 40 runs before Brandon King (23 runs off 13 balls) left the field after being injured in the fifth over.

South Africa beat USA by 18 runs to win Super 8

Despite many attempts, America could not make an accident. South Africa are in form in the Super 8 of the ongoing T20 World Cup. They defeated the United States by 18 runs in their first match.

South Africa’s batsmen batted well in the West Indies. Opener Quinton de Kock returns to form. The other opener Reeza Hendricks did not get runs, but De Kock continued to lead the team with captain Aiden Markram.

They use the power play. The over was getting more than 10 runs. Jasdeep Singh gave South Africa the advantage. He scored 28 runs in his first over. De Kock scored a half-century.

Heinrich Klaasen (36) and Tristan Stubbs (20) remained unbeaten on 20. In response, the U.S. started well. Openers Steven Taylor and Andreas Gouss were scoring runs quickly.

Kagiso Rabada gave America the first blow by dismissing Taylor for 24 runs. He also dismissed Nitish Kumar in the powerplay.

Opener Gaus played well, but he did not get anyone in the middle overs. After that, the wickets kept falling. Half of the team returned to the dressing room for 76 runs.

Captain Aaron Jones failed in this match. He was out for zero runs. Corey Anderson scored 12. Gaus did not give up on one side of the wicket. He scored a half-century. Harmeet accompanied him.

As a result, Gauss was left alone. In the last over, 26 runs were needed to win. America can score 7 runs. South Africa won by 18 runs. Gauss remained unbeaten on 80 off 47 balls.

Australia out of T20 World Cup

Australia are yet to be eliminated from the T20 World Cup. Australia lost to India in their last match of the Super 8 of the World Cup. Their going to the semi-finals depends on the Bangladesh-Afghanistan match.

India has reached the semi-finals with 6 points from 3 matches. Australia got two points from three matches. Their net run rate is -0.331.

Afghanistan has 2 points from 2 matches. Their net run rate is -0.650. Bangladesh have 0 points in two matches. Their net run rate is -2.489.

India won by 24 runs against Australia. Rohit Sharma scored 92 runs in the first innings. Later, Arshdeep and Jasprit Bumrah dominated the ball.

Australia tried to return to the match with the bat but did not succeed in the end. Rohit has secured a place in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup.

Australia lost one wicket after another while playing big shots. Rohit Sharma turned the match on their side.

Otherwise, Indian cricketers were relieved to score 205 runs. India managed to win the match even after dropping one catch after another.

Afghanistan beat Bangladesh in a thrilling match

The fight to reach the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup continued till the last match. Afghanistan and Bangladesh had such opportunities to play on Tuesday. Australia’s fate depended on this match.

All three teams had the opportunity to reach the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup. In the end, Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh by 8 runs in the semi-finals. Australia is out.

Afghanistan scored 115 runs in the first innings. To reach the semi-finals, Bangladesh had to score that run in 12.1 overs. But Shakib Al Hasan could not do that.

The game was stopped repeatedly due to rain. Bangladesh’s goals have also changed. They needed 114 runs in 19 overs to win. In the end, Bangladesh lost by 8 runs.

Afghanistan lost to India in Super 8 but won against Australia and Bangladesh. Rashid reached the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup with four points. They have to play against South Africa.

Once in the rain-affected match, it seemed that Bangladesh would reach the semi-finals. Liton Dasera was scoring quick runs. But after the fall of the fifth wicket, Bangladesh suddenly stopped.

At that time, Liton’s game seemed to have forgotten that they had a chance to reach the semi-finals if they won in 12.1 overs. You have to give credit to Rashid and Noor Ahmed as well.

Bangladesh batsmen had trouble understanding their spin. Fazalhaq Farooqui and Naveen-ul-Haq opened the wickets. Bangladesh lost 3 wickets for 23 runs.

Rashid showed dominance in the middle overs. He took 4 wickets for 23 runs in 4 overs. On the other hand, Nur did not get a wicket but gave 13 runs in 4 overs.

Bangladesh is in trouble. Of course, the failure of the middle order is behind their defeat. Liton will also have to take responsibility.

He was the only batter who stayed until the end. But the unbeaten Liton repeatedly gave strike with one run to Tanzim Hasan Shakib, Taskin Ahmed.

Many times it was seen that Liton had a chance to bat if he did not take a run in the last ball, but Bangladesh took one run there.

Many times, Liton, who scored a half-century, allowed the team’s bowlers to bat with a single in the first ball of the over. If he tried to play more balls, Bangladesh would have won.

Naveen was awarded the Man of the Match award. He took 4 wickets for 26 runs. However, Rashid was also a contender for the best award in this match against Bangladesh.

He took 4 wickets for 23 runs. Stop the run at an important time. Also, don’t forget that Rashid hit three sixes with the bat.

Those three sixes in his 10-ball innings gave the team a fighting ground. If Rashid did not score that run, his country could have lost.

Afghanistan will play South Africa in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup. The semi-finals will be held on the morning of June 27. India and England will play in the second semi-final on the same day. Final on June 29.

India vs England T20 World Cup Semi-Final

India will play against defending champions England in the semi-finals. The team has many cricketers who have played in the IPL.

The Indian team is also confident after the win against Australia. But will it be a semi-final? There is a chance of rain in Thursday’s match.

The India vs England match will begin at 8:00 PM IST on June 27. The match will be played in Guyana. There is an 88 percent chance of rain on Thursday.

The drainage system of the ground where the game is played is also not very good. If there is heavy rain before the match, then the outfield may be wet. In that case, the start of the game will be delayed.

It is not possible to play if it rains during the match. The possibility of the match being washed out cannot be ruled out.

The first semi-final of the T20 World Cup is on that day. But it will be in the morning. There is a reserve day for that match.

That is, for some reason, if not on Thursday morning according to Indian time, then Friday morning. India will play the second semi-final.

India and England met in the semi-finals of the 2022 T20 World Cup. Rohit Sharma will not want to remember that match though.

They were knocked out of the World Cup after losing to England. In this year’s World Cup, Rohit will have the opportunity to take revenge for that match.
