Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will enter Assam from Nagaland on January 18.The state government will launch an ambitious scheme to divert attention from Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’. That is why the work of the “Lakhpati Baideo Scheme” has started from upper Assam.
Meanwhile on January 18, 39 lakh women from the state’s SELF Help Groups will start giving money through the scheme from that day onwards. So chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced the initial process of the Rs 3,900 crore scheme.
Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will enter Assam on January 18 at Amguriyedi in Sivasagar. Meanwhile, a total of 5 lakh 33 thousand women in several districts including Sivasagar in upper Assam will be given the application form of ‘Lakhpati Baideo’ on the same day.
On January 18, Rahul Gandhi will cross the Brahmaputra through Jorhat via Amguri and go to Majuli. From Majuli he will spend the night at Gogamukh and leave for Itanagar on January 19. Similarly in other districts of the state will also be held from January 18 to 25 in a phased manner. On those days the government will arrange to give panchayat application forms to everyone on a particular day. Applications will be given only one day.
Rahul Gandhi’s yatra will arrive at Gahpur from Itanagar on January 20. Rahul Gandhi’s massive rally is scheduled to be held in Kaliabor on January 21. Accordingly the application of ‘Lakhpati Baideo’ by the government is likely to be filed by the government in Sonitpur district and Kaliabor on January 21.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also arrive in Assam two days after Rahul Gandhi arrived in Assam on the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’.
Amit Shah is likely to come to Guwahati on the night of January 19. Amit Shah will take part in a series of programmes in Guwahati on January 20.
