Congress’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi began from Imphal in Manipur on Sunday Congress leader Gandhi went all out against the central government on the first day of his yatra. Rahul made explosive allegations that the BJP and the Modi government have no sympathy for the people of Manipur and the government does not consider Manipur as a part of India.
Criticising the Modi government, Gandhi said, “Manipur is not a part of India. Prime Minister Modi, BJP and RSS don’t treat Manipur as a part of India . They never feel the pain and pain of the people of Manipur People have seen their relatives lose their lives in front of their eyes during the communal clashes. But Prime Minister Modi did not see the tears of these people or could not come here to help you. There can be nothing more shameful than this.”
Gandhi criticised the BJP saying that Manipur lost everything only because of the politics of hate of the BJP and the RSS. Promising to return what the people of Manipur lost, Gandhi said, “We will bring back peace, harmony and love in Manipur. We understand the pain and pain of the people of Manipur. So we are committed to bringing peace back to disturbed Manipur.”
He added, “I have been doing active politics since 2004. I have visited a place in India where the system of law and order has ended. This is the first time I have got in India. “
