Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Guwahati today. Today is the second day of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Assam. The Union Minister participated in the commando parade held at The Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati.
The Union Home Minister congratulated the newly appointed commandos in Sarusajai. Addressing the newly appointed commandos, the Union Home Minister said, “Assam Police is facing all challenges. Assam Police has a glorious history. Today’s event will further strengthen the Assam Police. “
The Union Home Minister also announced that the Indo-Myanmar border will be sealed soon.Speaking on the occasion, he lashed out at the Congress and said, “In Assam, the BJP has completed 1 lakh appointment process. During the Congress days, we had to take up money jobs.During the Congress days, the youth of Assam had to pay to get a job. But in the days of our government, we did not have to pay even Re 1 for the job.
Amit Shah takes a dig at Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra.Amit Shah also termed the establishment of the ram temple as a matter of pride for the people of India. Amit Shah pays tribute to nearly 900 martyrs of Assam Police. Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and Director General of Assam Police G P Singh were also present on the occasion.
