Sri Ram’s mandir pran pratishtha in Ayodhya today at the end of much waiting. Thousands of devotees from across the country and abroad will be present today by the Prime Minister of the country.
It may be recalled that the Prime Minister had received an invitation from The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas in October 2023 for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. The Prime Minister will interact with workers involved in the construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. He will also visit Kubera Tilao, where an ancient Shiva temple has been rebuilt.
The Ram temple is built in the traditional Nagara style. The temple’s premises are 380 feet long (east-west direction), 250 feet wide and 161 feet high. Each floor of the temple is 20 feet high and has a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors. The pillars and walls of the temple have pictures of Hindu deities.
The rule of establishing Lord Ram’s soul will begin in the early hours of January 22. The auspicious time ranges from 12.29 pm 8 seconds to 12.30 pm 20 seconds. The auspicious moment of life is only 84 seconds.
There will be 121 Acharyas who will coordinate, support and guide all the ritual processes of the event.
