The ED again issued summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The ED has issued summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for the fifth time in the Delhi liquor scam case. The Delhi chief minister has been directed to appear before the ED office on February 2. Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal had been summoned four times by the ED and the chief minister had not appeared before the investigating agency all the times.
The first summons were issued to Arvind Kejriwal on November 2, 2023, to appear for questioning. The second summons were issued to appear on December 21 in a phased manner. The third summons was issued to appear for questioning on January 3. The fourth summons were issued to appear on January 18. And the fifth summons has been issued today. According to the summons, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will have to appear before the ED office on February 2.
Delhi minister Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh are currently in jail in the Delhi liquor scam case. On October 4, Sanjay Singh was arrested in connection with the Delhi liquor scam money laundering case.
