Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has finally been arrested by the ED. The ED has arrested the chief minister in connection with the Excise policy scam. Kejriwal was questioned for 2 hours at his residence today by an ED team. After his arrest, Kejriwal was taken to the ED headquarters.

It may be recalled that the Delhi chief minister has been accused of being involved in the liquor policy scandal. So the ED issued nine summons to Kejriwal.
The chief minister’s arrest in the run up to the Lok Sabha polls has triggered reactions among various parties. Especially according to complaints by AAP leaders and workers, Modi’s popularity has gone down. The BJP is afraid of the Kejriwal government’s policy of women’s safety and development work in Delhi. Because in the capital Delhi it will feel ashamed if the BJP scratches its face. So the BJP has arrested Kejriwal using the ED.
