On Thursday night, the ED arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and took him to the ED office. The chief minister spent the night at the ED office. The AAP has moved the Supreme Court in this regard soon after Kejriwal was arrested in the liquor policy scam case. The matter will be heard in the Supreme Court on Friday.
Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the ED from his residence. Sources said the ED had earlier interrogated him and also seized documents. It is learnt that Kejriwal will be produced before the ED court today and seek custody for questioning.

AAP leader Atishi Marlena on Thursday said, “The ED has not been able to seize any money from the chief minister. The ED has not received any information related to liquor policy scam. Kejriwal has been, is and will continue to be the Chief Minister of Delhi. He will run the government from jail if needed. There is no restriction that the government cannot run from jail. ”

BJP leaders, on the other hand, demanded Kejriwal’s resignation from the chief minister’s post. AAP leader Raghav Chadha alleged that arresting Ariband Kejriwal ahead of the Lok Sabha polls was a big conspiracy. Aap will protest in this regard today. It is learnt that Rahul Gandhi will reach arvind Kejriwal’s family in the early hours of the morning.

It may be recalled that the ED had issued summons to Kejriwal nine times under the liquor policy scam, but the Delhi chief minister did not appear even once. Kejriwal had approached the Delhi High Court in this regard and filed an application seeking a stay on arrest. However, after the court dismissed the petition, the ED arrested the Delhi chief minister.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was arrested in the Delhi liquor scam case, will be questioned by the ED today. This interrogation will be done in front of the camera and all statements will be recorded in writing. The interrogation schedule will also be recorded on camera. The ED special team has outlined the interrogation of Arvind Kejriwal soon after his arrest. The EDA has also formed a special team of five headed by additional director to interrogate Arvind Kejriwal. Two assistant directors have also been included in the squad.
