The Narendra Modi government sent the message of Viksit Bharat Sampark to WhatsApp of most of the people of the country. But the Election Commission has directed the Modi government to stop sending the message of this Viksit Bharat Sampark massage to whatsApp to the people.
Instructions have been given to ensure that such messages are no longer sent to the person’s WhatsApp while the election conduct is in force. The Election Commission on Thursday directed the Union Ministry of Information and Technology in this regard.
It is to be noted that several opposition parties, including the Trinamool Congress, were upset over this message sent by the Narendra Modi government to the people on WhatsApp. After this, the Election Commission has taken this step.
The Election Commission on Thursday sent a letter to the Union Ministry of Information and Technology giving a directive in this regard. The order said that the message on India, developed before the election code of conduct was issued on March 15, was sent through WhatsApp.

But due to technical reasons and restrictions on internet services, this message has reached citizens’ mobiles very late. A section of the citizens of the country are still getting that message after the election code of conduct has been issued.
The commission has reiterated in the letter that sending such messages should stop immediately. Complaints are coming to the Election Commission in this regard. Now the election code of conduct is in force. This message can no longer be sent. This order should be implemented immediately.
It may be recalled that on Saturday, March 15, 2024, the Election Commission announced the date of the 18th general elections in the country. According to the law, the election code of conduct has come into effect in the country since then. Neither the government nor the administration can announce any Jan Mohini scheme while this code of conduct is in force. It can’t be propagated either.
But this time even after the code of conduct has been imposed, many citizens of the country have complained that they are getting messages from the central government regarding ‘Vikasi Bharat’ on their mobile phones. This message is about building a better India by 2047. Therefore, this order has been issued by the Election Commission.
