A total of 2,963 candidates had filed their nominations for 95 constituencies in 12 states and Union Territories in this phase, according to the Election Commission.

Of these, 519 nominations were filed for 11 constituencies in Mumbai as against the highest number of 658 nominations in 26 constituencies in Gujarat.

Phase 3 of elections is of particular importance for the BJP

Phase 3 of elections is of particular importance for the ruling BJP. This is because 25 of the 26 constituencies in Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, are going to polls in this phase.

The Gujarat Assembly has been held by the BJP for three decades since 1995. The BJP has already won one of the 26 constituencies in the state and surat.

BJP candidate from Surat constituency Mukesh Dalal won unopposed. Congress candidate Nilesh Kumbhani’s nomination from the constituency was cancelled while several other candidates withdrew their nominations.

In view of this, the BJP candidate has already won in Surat.

Significantly, people from the Kshatriya community in the state have been protesting against the BJP over a statement made by BJP’s Rajkot Lok Sabha candidate Purshottam Rupala.

In such a situation, the BJP has come down to the fight to save the strongholds of Gujarat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been campaigning in Gujarat since May 1st.

The BJP aims to keep all the constituencies of the prime minister’s home state in its own hands, as in the 2019 elections. For that, the BJP is up in the midst of all the challenges.

For the BJP in the third phase of elections, Goa, like gujarat, and karnataka elections are also very important. Both the two seats in Goa will go to polls on May 7.

North Goa, and South Goa, are witnessing a two-way contest between the BJP and the Congress. Bjp’s Pallavi Dempo is contesting the third phase of polling in South Goa.

Congress’ Virito Fernandes is contesting against Pallavi. Similarly, in North Goa, BJP’s Shripad Jaso Naik is contesting against Ramakant Khalap of the Congress.

In the 2019 elections, the BJP captured North Goa while the Congress had captured South Goa.

Similarly, polling for 14 seats in Karnataka, which has 28 Lok Sabha seats, will go to polls in the second phase while the remaining 14 seats will be held in the third phase.

As the only state in south India dominated by the BJP, karnataka elections are of particular importance to the BJP. For the BJP, which won 25 of the 28 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, there is a challenge in Karnataka this time.

The recently suspended MP from the JDS, a sitting suspended MP from the JD(S), a constituent of the NDA, Prajal Rawanna, is also likely to affect the state’s elections in the state, where the BJP government came to power in the assembly elections.

Rahul Gandhi in trouble during Lok Sabha elections 2024

Rahul, a Congress MP and its candidate from Wayanad and Rae Bareli constituencies, has been written by the vice-chancellors of 200 universities across the country.

In this letter they have also sought legal action against Rahul Gandhi. A few months ago, Rahul had accused loyalty of being given priority over merit in appointment of vice-chancellors in universities across the country.

Rahul said vice-chancellors have been appointed in universities across the country on the basis of loyalty and not on merit. Rahul made the BJP the target of attack by making it a target. But rahul’s statement has upset the vice-chancellors of the universities.

Around 200 vice-chancellors have written an open letter opposing Rahul’s remarks and demanding legal action against him. They dismissed Rahul’s allegations and clarified in a statement on Sunday that vice-chancellors have been appointed in the universities of the country on the basis of merit.

Rahul’s claim is not only false and baseless but also an insult to the vice-chancellors of the country’s universities. Vice-chancellors take care of the dignity and sophistication of educational institutions through their work.

As a result, many universities in the country have recently been included in the list of best in the world.

The statement also claimed that Rahul Gandhi had made such allegations for political interests ahead of the polling. So appropriate legal action should be taken against him.

The statement was signed by the founders of Sangeet Natak Akademi, Sahitya Akademi, NCERT, National Book Trust, AICTE, UGC etc. with 180 vice-chancellors.

A few months ago, Rahul Gandhi had made explosive allegations about the process of appointing vice-chancellors of universities.

His allegation was that vice-chancellors were not appointed on the basis of merit in universities in the country. They are appointed on the basis of loyalty to a particular organisation.

All vice chancellors appointed in universities belong to the same institution. That institution is under the control of the BJP.

After this explosive allegation of Rahul Gandhi, the controversy started and a series of vice-charges started against Rahul.

About 200 vice-chancellors have made statements through open letters demanding legal action against Rahul just before the third phase of polling.

MP Brij Bhushan Charan Singh in the news again

Kesarganj MP Brij bhushan Charan Singh is in the news again. It has become a matter of discussion for the BJP to give ticket to its son Karan Bhushan Singh this time.

In this regard, many people including wrestler Sakshi Malik have expressed their reactions on social media.

While a section of people have protested against the issue of ticketing, many people have stood by it. But whose support does Brijbhushan not give up on iman’s pass.

Brijbhusan Charan Singh was interested in wrestling since his student days. Wrestling was organised at various places and also bore the cost of the fight. Apart from this, Brijbhushan also gave the prize to the winner at his own expense.

According to the information received, Brij bhusan had also provided accommodation to the wrestlers in Nandni Nagar.

Later in 1985, Brij bhushan Charan Singh became involved in the Ram Temple movement. The demolition of the Babri Masjid in 1992 put his name .

Several wrestlers, including Sakshi Malik, protested against him. As a result, Brijbhushan Charan Singh had to step down.

It is to be noted that despite being a BJP MP, he opposed his party for many reasons. Brijbhushan made a scathing comment on the flood victims’ struggle for the benefits of the government as well as the UP government.

A few months ago, Brij bhushan Charan Singh was accused of sexually assaulting a woman wrestler.

Several wrestlers, including witnesses, staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi to protest against the incident. After this, Brijbhushan was removed from the speaker’s chair.

Delhi was on the boil in protest by wrestlers. At the end of many allegations and protests, the country’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that an inquiry was being conducted into the allegations.

He also promised that the government would take action at the end of the investigation. Subsequently, the Delhi Police filed a 1,000-page charge sheet against Wrestling Federation of India chairman and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Charan Singh.

The Delhi Police had filed two charge sheets each in the court on June 15. But as soon as there was no result, Sakshi Malik announced his retirement from wrestling.

Several wrestlers expressed their displeasure over former WFI chief Brij Bhushan Singh’s assistant Sanjay Kumar Singh’s appointment as the new president of the WFI by defeating Anita Sheran by 40-7 votes.

Due to several of the allegations mentioned, Brijbhushan was denied a ticket to Kesarganj in this election but the BJP gave ticket to his son. The wrestlers are angry again over this.

Female wrestler Sakshi Malik is opposed to her son contesting elections in her place. In this regard, he has gone viral by posting on social media.

BJP government in Haryana in danger

Amid the third phase of polling, Haryana is in a major setback in the BJP. Four independent MLAs from the state have withdrawn their support to the BJP.

These independent MLAs are Golan of Randhi in Pundir constituency, Dharampal Gondar of Nilkar, Sombir Singh Sangwan of Dadri and Rakesh Daltabad of Badshahpur respectively. All the four MLAs had extended their support to the BJP government a few days ago.

Now they cannot directly support the Congress. Doing so can bring the party under the ambit of the law. So they have announced that they will support the Congress from outside.

Out of these four MLAs, three independents reached Rautak in Haryana today and attended a press conference along with Leader of Opposition Bhupendra Singh. Another independent MLA said he would soon formally release his remarks.

The press conference was also attended by Leader of Opposition Bhupendra Singh Hooda besides state Congress president Uday Bhanto.

With all the three MLAs withdrawing their support, the ruling BJP government is now in danger. Only a few days ago, this government proved its majority.

Congress leader Bhupendra Singh Hooda thanked all the three independent MLAs for supporting the Congress and said the decision of the three MLAs makes it clear that people’s infatuation with the present government has been broken.

All three have taken decisions keeping in mind public opinion.

He also said that the right decision was taken at the right time and that the Congress was now witnessing a wave in the country.

Congress talks about President’s rule in Haryana

The days of the BJP government in Haryana, which has been in turmoil since the day of polling in the third phase, are nearing its end. The Congress has again claimed that the Naib Singh Saini-led government has lost its majority in the state.

Speaking to a news agency here today, Congress national general secretary Jairam Ramesh said the BJP has lost its majority in Haryana.

“Three independent MLAs have withdrawn support to the government. This is the right time to impose President’s rule. ”

“The BJP is supposed to run Operation Lotus. You can do what they have been doing in the last 10 years. But the BJP’s days in Haryana are over. Bjp in Haryana is as many guests as long as guests at the centre. ”

Contrary to such claims of Jairam Ramesh, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has been claiming that his government has not lost its majority. Will he be able to prove his majority in the assembly?

It may be recalled that after three independent MLAs formally withdrew support to the BJP government in Haryana, another independent MLA has also claimed to withdraw support.

In parallel, JJM Deo, who has 10 MLAs each in the Haryana Assembly, has clearly declared that it will not support the BJP. In such a situation, the Congress and the JJM have claimed that the BJP has lost majority in the state.
