Addressing a press conference on Tuesday Chief Minister Sarma said that no one goes to Rahul Gandhi’s rallies these days except for people from a particular community.
“Miya Muslims go to Rahul Gandhi’s rally. But now slowly they are also not going away. Because women of Miya Muslims have now become our vote bank because of the blessings of bjp’s development schemes. “
CM HBS further said, “I have cancelled my visit to Majuli as rahul gandhi’s bharat jodo nyay yatra is not difficult. Also the jorhat programme on January 18 and 19 has been cancelled. But these programmes were scheduled a month ago. Even then, rahul gandhi’s bharat jodo nyay yatra has not been inconvenienced due to which the programmes have been cancelled.”
