How many marks do you have to score in UGC NET exam?
The general category candidates must get at least 40% marks in both the papers, whereas candidates from the reserved category must get 35% marks.

According to the website, candidates interested in the fellowship have to apply and qualify through this test.
NEET UG stands for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, abbreviated as NEET. UG means undergraduate. If you want to study medicine, you have to pass this test first.
Students get the opportunity to appear for this exam only after the 12th class examination.The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts NEET exams across the country every year.
On the basis of the marks obtained in this examination, students get the opportunity to study medicine in the premier institutions of the country.

Allegations of irregularities in UGC-NET 2024 exam, Cancelled of UGC-NET exam
The Union Ministry of Education has announced the cancellation of the UGC NET (UGC-NET June 2024) examination held across the country on June 18 for various subjects.
After several allegations of irregularities in the examination were raised, the central government immediately announced this big decision through a notification.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has also been entrusted with the responsibility of investigating the serious allegations that irregularities have taken place during the examination.
It may be recalled that the UGC-NET June 2024 examination for various subjects was held across the country on June 18.
The Union Ministry of Education announced the cancellation of the examination through a notification on Wednesday.
The notification also mentions that again when the exam will be conducted will be informed by the concerned authorities at a later stage.
According to the notification, the Threat Analytics Unit of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre under the Ministry of Home Affairs received information through sources about irregularities during the conduct of net exams on Tuesday.
This was then conveyed to the University Grants Commission (UGC) and in view of the gravity of the complaint, the Union Ministry of Education immediately decided to cancel the examination.
It may be recalled that earlier there were allegations of serious irregularities like question-cracking in the NEET-UG examination which has already gone to the Supreme Court.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) and the central government in charge of conducting the exams are facing stiff questions from the Supreme Court.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Education on Wednesday, it also claimed that strict action will be taken against those involved in the irregularities in view of serious allegations of irregularities in the UGC-NET June 2024 examination.

Allegations of Tejashwi Yadav’s personal secretary involved in NEET question paper leak

He called her and asked her to book a room for Sikanderprasad Yadav. Sikander is an engineer by profession. Sikander had earlier claimed that a “minister” was involved in the NET scam.
Sikander said he had booked a room in a government bungalow in Patna for one of his nephews.
The nephew’s name is Anurag Yadav. He was a NEET examiner. Anurag, his mother and a few others were in the bungalow. Anurag is now in jail for alleged irregularities in the NEET exam.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay said that Tejashwi’s accomplice had booked a room in a government bungalow in Patna for the accused.
He has conducted a departmental inquiry into the incident. In the video, Tejashwi’s associate Pritam, an employee of RCD, had called Pradeep.
He had booked a room at the NHAI bungalow in Patna on May 1. Four days later, the NEET exam was conducted in the country.

He had arranged food and accommodation for Ayush Raj, Shivanandan Kumar, Abhishek Kumar, Anurag Yadav and Anurag’s mother Reena.
On Thursday, he also claimed that the “leaked” question paper given to him matched with the original NEET question paper.
SC hear all NEET-related cases together, notice NTA
A notice has also been issued in this regard. Separate notices have also been issued to the central government and the National Testing Agency (NTA), the organiser of the exam.
There have been allegations of corruption in the medical entrance examination. A bench of Justices Vikram Nath and SVN Bhatti came up for hearing several petitions in this regard.
At present, several cases of net corruption are pending in seven High Courts of the country. The court adjourned those cases on Thursday.
The bench also issued a notice to the Supreme Court to hear the cases of seven high courts together. There has been a demand to cancel this year’s examination due to allegations of corruption in NEET.
Several lawsuits have been filed in this regard. The plaintiffs have sought an investigation into the corruption under the supervision of the court.
The SC on Thursday issued separate notices to the Centre and NTA on the petitions. The next hearing of the case is on July 8. The Centre and NTA will have to respond to the court’s notice on that day.
The Supreme Court on Thursday heard a total of 14 cases related to NEET. Of these, 10 cases were filed by 49 students and one by a students’ body (SFI).
The remaining four cases were filed by the NTA. NTA has sought transfer of NEET-related cases from various high courts in the country to the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court did not want to stay the counselling process of NEET as of now. The judges said they want to hear the response of the NTA and the central government on the issue first.
After that, a decision will be made. The top court refused to hand over the probe to the CBI without hearing their submissions.
The NEET results were also declared on June 4, the day the results of the Lok Sabha elections were declared. It was seen that 67 people took first place together.
He got 100 percent marks. Many of them took the exam from the same examination center. It is also alleged that the marks given to some candidates in NEET are not possible as per the rules.
Amid the controversy, the authorities said that some students were given extra marks due to lack of time for the exam.
